How to Print

Most of the prints available to purchase here are instant download files for printing yourself.

Once you have purchased you will have immediate access to the files. The download links will be shown on screen immediately after purchase. They will also be in the email sent to you automatically after purchase, it may end up in your junk folder, so take a look there if you don’t see it.

All download links will take you to Dropbox – simply click on the link which will take you to Dropbox (you don’t need a Dropbox account to access the files).
Then click on the arrow (may show as 3 dots on some devices) or download button, and choose direct download.

It’s recommended to download using a laptop, desktop or tablet, as you may sometimes have trouble downloading onto a phone.

Print sets are in zip files. To unzip, right click on the file and choose “extract all.” Large sets may take time to download depending on your internet connection speed.

The sizes available for each image are detailed on the image’s listing page. It’s not recommended to print larger than those sizes as this can result in pixelization.

2:3 ratio — use for print size – 4×6″, 6×9″, 8×12″, 10×15″, 12×18″, 16×24″, 20×30″
3:4 ratio — use for print size – 6×8″, 9×12″, 12×16″, 18×24″
4:5 ratio — use for print size – 8×10″, 16×20″
European paper sizes — use for print size – A2 (42 x 59.4cm), A3 (29.7 x 42cm), A4 (21 x 29.7cm), A5 (14.8 x 21cm)
11 x 14″ use for print size – 11 x 14″

If printing yourself at home, I recommend using good quality photo or inkjet paper. I’d advise against using cardstock as it tends to give poor quality print results. You can use any finish you choose, whether it be matt, satin or gloss. Matt works best for art prints, and satin or gloss for photo prints.

Simply locate the file on your computer, right click on the file and choose “print.” Alternatively, you can open the file using image editing software and print from within the software.
Print using your printer’s best quality print setting, and ensure you choose the correct media setting for printing.

See our How to Print Printable Wall Art article for detailed instructions on printing and getting the best results.

If you would prefer not to print them yourself, you can use a commercial printing service. Aside from printers in your local area (e.g. Costco, Staples, etc), there are many cheap online printing services (see below).

We now offer a printed and shipped service for printables in partnership with a professional print lab. The printed & shipped option may not be available on all designs just yet, as we’re working our way through adding it to all products.

Many of the prints featured in this store are also available to buy ready printed from our sister site www.enchanted-wishes.co.uk

Please note that the image colours displayed on your monitor may differ slightly from the actual colours of the print. This is due to the different colour profiles used by monitors and printers.
